We chose the hotel Lo Scoiattolo because we wanted a lower price hotel for our first night since we would arrive quite late in the region. The hotel is simple and good for a 1-night stay. The rooms are clean and bed comfortable (the decoration could be upgraded!). The breakfast is quite simple also, but with good options. The staff put a lot of heart on it and they make the difference. The only disappointment was that the hotel is a little outside of the village. The photos shown on the internet gave me the impression that the hotel was in the village.
We come at 21:55 but the hotel was closed that time. After 4 days they are trying to charge all amount from my card. Disrespect service.
Fairly basic but affordable accommodation with a restaurant which will be open if you're lucky. No lake view and a nice little village walking distance. But that's about it. Friendly staff speaking basic English
Terrible hotel do not book it was an absolute scam!
Booked for 2 adults and 1 child, but when we tried to book in they would not give us the room without paying 40 euros extra, despite the fact we could prove it was booked for 3, they just kept making up different prices!
When we refused to pay extra we left and called hotels.com who we had booked with and they called them. They claimed not to speak English despite arguing fluently with us 5 minutes before, and we're rude to hotels.com as well as us.
They then quickly charged our saved card with 140 euros for a room they refused to provide!
They have now been reported to card company in addition to hotels.com, we have left it to them, but from what I hear so far they are not cooperating at all.
We had to cut our losses and pay for another hotel close by, but this was better than paying more to stay here.
Very rude, very sneaky, dishonest and one big scam
There are better hotels near by, keep looking
Staff very helpful and friendly room clean.quiet place and lovely Italian breakfast.100% recommended.
A simple, perhaps a little tired, but clean hotel.
The problem was that in one of the corridors we found a painting of the capital of the aggressor country. Do Italians still love the Russians?
We had a great time at the hotel good value for your money lovely staff very friendly and helpful.
Good for a one-night-stay. Rooms are quite old and so is also the carpet inside. Cleanliness could be improved but was not terrible either.
